The educational policies and procedures defined by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are adhered to at Sacred Heart School. Our School Computer Lab at Sacred Heart is equipped with: 27 Dell computers, scanners, color printers, laser printers LCD projector with screen for lab instruction Classrooms have one or more computers and printers Lab and classrooms are Internet accessible through wireless access points Separate laptops and projectors for classroom PowerPoint lessons plans SMART Board, projector, laptop, digital microscope, and digital cameras All Students from First to Eighth are instructed in: Word Processing at grade level Excel across the curriculum: Science, Social Studies and Religion Multimedia reports and projects using Hyper Studio and PowerPoint Keyboarding Resource include Various Software such as: Word Muncher Math Muncher Hyper Studio Kidspix Deluxe Inspiration Ultra Key Plus adding any new and useful applications as needed. |
